Present: Supervisor Miller, Councilman Orlando= , Councilman Beckerink, Councilman Lodestro, Councilman Heintzelman, Town Clerk Erlandso= n, Highway Superintendent Shellhouse.
Supervisor Miller open=
ed the
meeting at 7:00 PM and led the Town Council in the Pledge of Allegiance. Town Clerk Erlandson called t=
he
roll.
MOTION
by Councilman Lodestro, seconded by Councilman Beckerink to accept the minu=
tes
of the January 19, 2009 meeting as presented by the Town Clerk.

Clerk Erlandson read the following items into the record:

TOWN OFFICERS’ REPORTS
Councilman Lodestro suggested that town officials look into certain special district char=
ges
within the Town of
Councilman Beckerink asked that wind power be added to the agenda of the comprehensive plan
process that is currently underway.
Mr. Beckerink also asked Highway Superintendent Shellhouse about the status of a new
heating system for the water tower at the
Town Clerk Erlandson reported that he w= ould be collecting property taxes at the Celoron Village Hall on Saturday, Feb. = 7, 2009 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Highway Superintendent Shellhouse reported that the
Super= visor Miller reported that a meeting with a mediator from the Public Employee Relations Board (PERB)= has been scheduled for March 26, 2009 re the “impasse” in negotiati= ons with Town of Ellicott CSEA Highway/Office employees pertaining to a new labor agreement.

that the Town Council will conduct its March 16, 2009 at the Fluvanna Library.

Miller also reminded the Town Council that each year it=
is
required to review the financial records of the Town Supervisor, Town Clerk=
and

iller reported
that he, Councilman Orlando & Highway Superintendent Shellhouse met
recently with
