Minutes of a Special Meeting of the
Town Council of the Town of Ellicott
held at the
Administration Building,
March 25, 2004
at 7:00 P.M.
Present: Supervisor Tyler, Councilman Geisler, Councilman Miller, Town Clerk Erlandson.
Absent: Councilman Pickett, Councilman Taylor.
Supervisor Tyler opened the
meeting at 10:50 AM.
The Council discussed two
bids received for environmental studies on Chautauqua Lake in
conjunction with the preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)
regarding the proposed application of Aquathol-K to 300 acres of the
South Basin of Chautauqua Lake. (See
Resolution #44-04)

Advertise Bid (Herbicide
Application)
Motion by Supervisor Tyler,
seconded by Councilman Geisler to accept a bid from URS Corporation,
Buffalo, New York in the amount of $106,000.00 to conduct environmental studies
on Chautauqua Lake in conjunction with the preparation of an Environmental
Impact Statement regarding the proposed application of Aquathol-K to
300 acres of the South basin of Chautauqua Lake and; further, that the
bid be accepted with the stipulation that URS Corporation contact Robert
L. Johnson, Cornell University to determine whether his services may be
utilized during the environmental studies.

by Supervisor Tyler, seconded by Councilman Geisler to adjourn at 10:58 AM.
