Supervisor Tyler opened the meeting at 12:15 PM.

RESOLUTION #80-07

Contract with NYSDEC (Pump Station on School Ave.)

MOTION by Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman Pickett authorizing the Town of Ellicott Supervisor to sign a contract with the New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation regarding an “Aid to Localities” Project; the purpose of the contract is to provide financial assistance to the Town of Ellicott in conjunction with the construction of a new water pump station in the School Ave. area. (See ‘Howard Ave. – School Ave. Pump Station’ file for detail)

Rezoning Request (Swanson) – Supervisor Tyler reported that the Town has received a request to rezone a section of N. Main St. Ext. (Rte. 60) between Girts Rd. & Salisbury Rd. from ‘residential’ to ‘mercantile’. The request was submitted by Brad Swanson. Mr. Tyler recommended that the request be referred to the Ellicott Planning Board for further review.

MOTION by Supervisor Tyler, seconded by Councilman Pickett to refer a request to rezone a section of N. Main St. Ext. (Rte. 60) between Girts Rd. & Salisbury Rd. from ‘residential’ to ‘mercantile’ to the Town of Ellicott Planning Board for further review.

RESOLUTION #81-07

Payment of Claims

MOTION by Supervisor Tyler, seconded by Councilman Pickett to pay 2007 current claims #903-921, inclusive, in the amount of $8,235.73 and charge to the proper fund or account.
