Present: Supervisor Miller, Councilman Orlando= , Councilman Beckerink, Councilman Lodestro, Councilman Heintzelman, Town Clerk Erlandso= n, Highway Superintendent Shellhouse.

Supervisor Miller open= ed the meeting at 7:00 PM and led the Town Council in the Pledge of Allegiance. Town Clerk Erlandson called t= he roll.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

MOTION by Councilman Lodestro, seconded by Councilman Heintzelman to accept the minutes of the November 17, 2008 meeting as presented by the Town Clerk.

TOWN OFFICERS’ REPORTS

Counc= ilman Lodestro reported that the bookkeeping re the <= st1:address w:st=3D"on">Lyndon Blvd. Project has been finalized. (= Minutes 1/21/08 et. seq.)

Mr. L= odestro also reported that Attorney Gregory Yaw is reviewing documents involving the Airport Water District to examine how property owners within the district a= re being assessed for charges associated with the district.

Mr. L= odestro also reported that Town of Ell= icott officials have requested “member initiative” funding from New Y= ork State Senator Catharine Young and NYS Assemblyman William Parment. He explained that the funding woul= d be used to replace the roof on the Ellicott Administration Bldg.

Counc= ilman Heintzelman reported that negotiations with Town of Ellicott CSEA employees are continuing.=

Mr. H= eintzelman also reported that the “steering committee” for the new Town of Ellicott Comprehensive Plan would be conducting its next meeting on Dec. 11, 2008 at 5:30 PM.

Counc= ilman Beckerink reported that the study re county-wide assessing has still not been completed.

Councilman Orlando asked about the status of an easement agreement with Real Estate Advantage (Resolution #37-08). He was informed that Town Attorney= William Wright is looking into the matter.

Highway Superintendent Shellhouse reported that he would be meeting with a representative from Sherwin-Williams re the possibilit= y of painting the water tower at the Airport Industria= l Park.

Mr. Shellhouse also reported on the status of the water pump station currently under construction in West Ellicot= t.

Supervisor Miller reported that federal funding for infrastructure projects might be available in 2009. He explained that Southern Tier West Regional Planning & Development Board wo= uld be administering the program in our area.&= nbsp; He stated that Town of = Ellicott officials have submitted several possible projects for consideration.<= /o:p>

Mr. Miller also reported that the Chautauqua Co. Industrial Development Agency has completed a “concept presentation” for developing the area known as the “Falconer Gateway” located east of Exit 13 on Interstate 86. He explained that the presentation= was developed in conjunction with the new Chautauqua Co. Comprehensive Plan that is currently being compiled. He stated that there will be a pub= lic meeting re the “concept presentation” on December 2, 2008 at 10= :00 AM at the Ellicott Administration Bldg.&nb= sp;
